3D and 4D baby scans don't need a referral.
Ultrasound
General, Doppler and musculoskeletal ultrasound. It's safe and non-invasive, and uses no radiation.
Pregnancy scans
Scans for every trimester, plus 3D & 4D baby scans, which don't need a referral.
CT scans
Organs, bone, soft tissue and blood vessels in cross-section. Bulk billed.
X-ray
Bones, chest and joints. Most requests need no appointment, and all are bulk billed.
Dental, breast & more
OPG and cone beam CT, mammography, BreastScreen and ultrasound-guided injections.

All CT scans and general X-rays are bulk billed. Some other procedures, including some ultrasounds, attract a charge, so please ask the clinic when you book.
Your referring doctor can view your images within about 15 minutes of your scan. If your scan is medically urgent, the report can reach them within a couple of hours; otherwise expect results with your GP within 1 to 2 business days.
Yes. My GIG lets you view your own images and report online. We'll send you a link by SMS after your scan. How My GIG works
Yes, for most scans. Bring it with you, upload a photo when you book online, or ask your doctor to send it electronically. 3D and 4D baby scans are the exception: no referral is needed.
Pakenham and Cranbourne are open Saturday, 9am to 1pm. All clinics are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, and closed on Sundays.
Any clinic that suits you. CT, X-ray, ultrasound and OPG are available at all six. Some services are only offered at one site, such as BreastScreen at Rosebud or interventional procedures at Pakenham. Each service page lists where it's available.
